We all know that as disciples of our Lord we are to spread the gospel throught the world.  But many wonder how they can.  Perhaps they don't have resources to travel.  Maybe finances are a chllenge.  Or health is weak.  Whatever the reason, some feel spreading the gospel is beyond them.  This is a mistaken view.

Today we’re exploring an incredible reminder that the Great Commission is not reserved for a select few. Jesus calls all of us to help carry the gospel into all the world. Through the powerful work of World Bible School, ordinary Christians can become part of an extraordinary mission, reaching hearts across nations with the truth of God’s Word. Whether through teaching, encouragement, prayer, or support, every believer can play a role in sharing Christ in their area and beyond. Today, my friend and brother Kent Dobbs joins us to talk about this life changing ministry and how each of us can help take the message of salvation to a waiting world.

If you are interested in this program, please visit their web site where you can learn more about how to be a study leader, or even perhaps a student yourslef.  There is no charge in any way for this incredible resource.  You can visit them at:  https://worldbibleschool.org/

I invite you to follow our podcast and share it with others as together we walk with our Master.

SPEAKER_00

Hello friends. Welcome to Walking with Our Master. I'm your host, Dave Leighton. Whether you're starting your morning or winding down your evening, let's take a few moments to center our hearts on some thoughts about what really matters. This week I'm speaking with my friend and brother in the Lord, Kent Dobbs. We know Kent as a dynamic presence in the Prattwell Church family, but we're not exclusive in this. Truly, people know about Kent from all over the world. Well, I'm thrilled to have Kent as a guest on the podcast today, and I'm going to let him introduce himself and talk about the incredible mission he is a part of. And by the way, all the members of our congregation are a part of this ministry, whether directly or indirectly. Hello, Kent. Good morning, Dave. You know, Kent, uh a lot of folks don't know it, but you and I share a heritage. Uh we didn't cross paths necessarily, but we spent time in the same place over the years. Uh I spent a few years living in Springdale, Arkansas, and actually I was converted to the Lord while I was there and worshipped at the Springdale Church of Christ. And you were an elder at the Springdale Church of Christ. Not when I was there, but sometime later.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. I I was an elder there for 14 years and very blessed to work with that uh group of Christians. There were about 450 Christians there, and in my area uh there was missions, and we had about 10 mission works all over the world, and it was an opportunity to uh get involved in helping get the gospel of Jesus out to the world. That's what's important, getting to know Jesus and what he wants us to do and how we should live, and and uh so that was just special time. Well, and and you knew the man who taught me the gospel, Vaughl Parsley. Awesome Christian. I mean, he is just uh a phenomenal individual and so concerned about helping others learn about Jesus, just like what we're doing today, because it's all about Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Vaughl was my bus driver when I was in high school. And um I was going through a time as a troubled teen, as a lot of young men do, and uh we were the excuse me, we were the first pickup and the last drop-off on the school bus. Yes. And so I got to know Vaughl. The bus would be empty except for me and my brothers and sisters and Vall and I would talk, and he really talked to me about who Jesus really was. Now I did not know at the time that Vall was an elder in the church. To me, Vaughl was just a good old kind man, uh wasn't overly educated, just a good man who loved the Lord and was interested in my soul. And so I I deeply appreciated Vall and and Laura Parsley. Okay. Well, tell us about yourself so we can get to know you a little bit better, and then we're gonna talk about that mission work that you're a part of. Well, Dave, that's what it's all about.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, you know, I am uh uh a person who's almost 80 years old, and uh I can't believe it.

SPEAKER_00

It's just like you gotta be kidding me, but uh Well you seem to be a very healthy 80-year-old or close to 80-year-old You know, I'm I'm blessed.

SPEAKER_01

God has just blessed me to give me good health, David. Uh I get out and run every day through and uh I just I'm just so thankful to be able to do things like that. I just ran in a race here in Prattville just uh a few weeks ago with my daughter, Jenny Nelson, and she's just the one of the lights of my life. I've got a wonderful wife I've been married to almost 59 years.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I've got a son in Springdale, Arkansas, where you came from, and where I came from. And I was there 24 years and uh in business and retired and uh was blessed to come here to Pravile in 2012, so about 14 years ago, and uh I have been involved with uh the church here in various activities. I've tried to uh be part of the food pantry where we hand out food and and uh to to people in the community. Uh I've tried to be uh just involved in various uh works, but uh a few years ago, about eight years ago, someone came to me and said, hey, we're going to we're going to uh have world Bible school and we want you to head that up. And so there's another brother named Mike Manley and he's just phenomenal. And and we started working on this program together with several of the members here, and it's just grown into a huge ministry where we last year sent out 17,000 plus Bible studies all over the world.

SPEAKER_00

Are you leading that program or is Mike leading that program?

SPEAKER_01

Either or does it matter of it doesn't matter. Mike is like you, Dave. He's real technical and he he worked in IT most of his life. I'm uh I have a flip phone, so I'm not real technical. And uh this is a very interesting uh ministry because we have a we have an opportunity it's called Ocean Bridge, and what it is is that people in other countries, they have a warehouse, a building, maybe 10,000 square feet, and have all these Bible studies and Bibles and things that are there and needed and necessary to get the gospel out to the world, and and then they have people who work there and others who give their time there, and they go out to the villages, say in Africa and Nigeria and Zimbabwe and and uh Ethiopia, and uh so many wonderful things are happening because they go out and offer Bible studies to people, and as we do today, not just all over the world, but here in the United States. And so it's one of those things where people are just they are so hungry for the gospel about Jesus, and it's all about Jesus. You know, uh in Matthew 28, 18, 19, and 20, you can read it said Jesus said, All power is given to me in heaven and on earth. Now, now we do we believe that? I I think we do, I hope we do, but if he's got all power, he said for us to go and to teach the gospel to all the world, to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and continue to teach them and a wonderful thing he says right at the last, and lo, I'll be with you always. Now, my my question is, do we really believe this? I mean, what are we doing because there are billions of people out there in the world? How do we go about getting this message to these billions of people in India and Africa and China and South America? What can we do? Well, one of the things I found that we can do, because just getting on a plane, and I I've been on 10 missionary journeys, spent one summer uh in Japan, speak a little Nihongo, Scotia Honachimasu, speak a little bit of Japanese, but what I'm trying to say is that there are so many places, especially in Africa, where people are just they're dying to hear the gospel about Jesus and have an opportunity to study the Bible. So these are Bible studies where they go to a village and say, would you like to have this opportunity to uh study God's word? And so uh they go to schools, they go to prisons, they go to villages, they go to in, for example, in Nigeria alone, uh there are 12,000 churches of Christ, which we're affiliated with, and in the states there are only 10,000 churches of Christ. Uh that there are more churches, there are more Christians in Nigeria than in many countries of the world. Just in that one state, and there are 54 countries in Africa. So all these people are so hungry. And this kind of came about by a gentleman like myself who's retired and said, okay, the last 20 years of my life, what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do with myself? Well, he said, I want to create these Bible studies to send out to people all over the world and to give them an opportunity to learn about Jesus, and then I want to have people in different places, preachers, people who we have that that go and sit down and study with them and and bring them to the Lord and teach them about, like the Ethiopian eunuch. What look, there's water, what does it end up mean to be baptized? And say, uh, hey, I need somebody to come baptize me. We had 3,000 requests here, here in Pravil. Yeah, yeah. How many churches baptize 3,000 people in two or three months?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. You know, so so this World Bible School. Yeah. It's it's uh it used to be known for uh a paper-based activity where people would mail uh responses in, they'd get a lesson that was mailed to them, and and that worked. And it's still going that way, but now it's a little bit different. Oh, a lot different. Now, with all the technology we have, uh we let me shift gears just a minute. I used to ask the question, or I still ask the question. Imagine what Paul could have done in his missionary journeys with the technology we have at our fingertips today. Absolutely. And so that's what this world bible school now offers. It it is available online. It's online. In my mission trips, I I everywhere I went, somebody's got an iPhone. Absolutely. So they can hit the internet and there is a way then for us to spread the gospel. Yes and so the World Bible School gives that opportunity, and you're a part of that.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, and a world Bible school, uh the eight hundred thousand people are connected with just what you were talking about last year. 800,000. That's the is that the teachers or the ones. No, that's the students. Students, okay. And and what it is, is what you said, for example, in Africa, the Chinese gave everybody an iPhone. And so I can I can check in with you and and I can get these lessons on the iPhone and and it's gone but to computer, so it's graded, and and then when you uh get through these lessons, they have a minister in that area, uh, our own uh Cassargeon brother here, uh, Keith Cassargeon. He's you know, he's uh there's a lot of just people like Keith who travel all over the world and and have people sitting there ready to go out and and follow up on these lessons. But what I wanted to tell you is it started. Let me let me go back and tell you 50 years ago. Well, let me go back to 1967. I met Jimmy Lovell and he was a gentleman who said, let me do something and started these lessons. And in 1973, my friend Truett Adair was in Nigeria and he said, Truett, put a sign on the side of a bus that says World Bible School and people can uh write to us and let us know they'd like to have a lesson. And he said, as a result of that, they were just flooded. They were literally flooded with people who were wanting to study the Bible and learn about Jesus and learn about New Testament Christianity and learn about his church and learn about what they can do to spread this hope and this good news to other people. And as a result of that, it's what you said back in 50 years ago when I was uh uh at uh in Murfreesboro and R Springdale where you were today, we had a group of eight or ten or twelve, and it was just one-on-one, and you would send a letter to a student and they would send it back, and it cost 10 cents. Well now a stamp is what, 85 cents or 95 cents? It's unaffordable. You can't do it anymore. Not at that level. No. So what World Bible School did is go over to all these countries, say in Africa, and set up these, take all these lessons and rent a building and then have someone in charge and have people who went out and took them to the prisons, took them to the schools. Uh in Zimbabwe, for example. We are fixing to have the opportunity to get into every high school in Zimbabwe. And they will let their people study uh Bible lessons. And uh it's exciting. And so there we go out and we we carry it to them, and then we follow up on them, and when they want to become a Christian, we help place them in a a church in their area or their location. And uh just recently the president of Brian Davis, World Bible School, went over and spoke in South Africa, and there were a thousand protest preachers who had come from all over South Africa, and I think 850 of them had become a Christian through World Bible School. Okay. It's amazing. And and in other parts of Africa, yeah, he he did the same thing, and I think there were 500 people and uh preachers, and 450 had become Christians through World Bible School. So not only do we help them to learn about Jesus and how to become a Christian and how to walk the walk of Christ and New Testament Christianity and worshiping, and when we have things like solar players with Trudy there and and and his school where he's got a hundred schools there in Africa, and and they'll take them a solar player, and that solar player is the size of my phone. I have a flip phone, you can tell how untech I am. Yeah, it's like a little radio. Yeah, yeah, and and it just everything we're talking about, it has world Bible school lessons on it, it has singing on it, it has what to do to worship, it is what what do you do when you're taking the Lord's Supper? It is just it's so exciting because everything they teach, and it's a preacher training school, and if you want to train, you can. So here's this here's the situation. It's hard for you and I to get on an airplane today and fly to Nigeria. And if we do, and I've done ten of those type mission works, if we do, we're you do that, we're just usually there for about five to ten days. Yeah. Maybe two weeks.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, what happens when we leave?

SPEAKER_00

Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, well, this solar player, it can be handed out, and we've handed out thousands upon thousands. I'm talking about ten thousand. This started in 2012. And and now I've got something back in a remote village in Africa that tells me everything I need to know about Jesus, New Testament Christianity, and World Bible School, what the lessons on it, and and uh how to how to start a how to worship and how to get a church going and how to keep things going. And and so many people are being brought to the Lord uh through this. And and it's just another opportunity to get this message out and working with different groups, healing hands where they where they dig 2,000 wells all over the world, solar players, truett does wells in various places by Halu, my brother in Ethiopia, who is an Ethiopian that's there, and and he is just he's just building wells all over Ethiopia, and the government's giving him just special authority to do that, and then behind that comes these young preachers and uh have a situation in Zimbabwe where where we dug a well and I said, oh my gracious, what are we gonna do? And I called true at eight air and he said, I've got a school 90 miles from here. They came over there and 186 people gave their lives to the Lord and were baptized into Christ. They sealed that commitment to Jesus. They had made a commitment to Jesus, now they sealed it. And right there at that river, Dave, they've built a church building and there are 500 people worshiping there. Now, can you imagine that? How do we do that if I get on a plane and play two or three or four thousand dollars to fly over there? And I think it's wonderful, and I've done that, it's exciting, and take mission trips, but I can I'm not able to have the same impact that a person who lives there and speaks the language has. Right. Uh it's just it's just a phenomenal deal. I mean, we're talking about the Philippines. We're talking about India. Oh my gracious, the work there in India. In fact, World Bible School started in India. People don't realize that. They went to India and it's still going strong there. So uh I'm I'm just trying to say to you, I'm excited. We have about 20 people here uh that are meet together on Wednesday nights and and we fill out these lessons and send them back. And the exciting thing about they can scan it in, it's called Ocean Bridge. And they can scan it in in three days, and in three more days they can get it back. Yeah. So six days. Whereas before what you were talking about, we'd send the lesson over there, it'd take a long time to get there and a long time. If it got there. If it got there. And that's what's happened. I used to right here at this church mail boxes of world Bible school lessons to Texas, to South Africa. The postal system went down in South Africa. We said, what are we gonna do? Yeah. We're we're you know, we're running up, we're possum up a gum stump, so to speak. We're running into a wall. Yeah. So we came up with this ocean bridge, the technology you and I are using right here to get to the thousands, the hundreds of thousands, literally, Dave, the millions of people.

SPEAKER_00

I know it, and and the exciting thing about it is that it's technology based, but it's not complex. People can go in, register at worldbible school.org. Um they they will be paired with, in this case, with us, yes, or some of our people. And uh so you're getting you're getting very starting out, basic Bible-based and self-paced instruction under a specific brother or sister in the Lord who's gonna guide that person.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

And and that way that person, they're gonna develop a relationship and trust. Uh, they're gonna get good information, it's coming from scripture. Yeah. And so folks can sign up for that. And if they finish that, it's gonna walk them through the whole gospel.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, you know, I appreciate you so much. Let me tell people, folks, if you go here to our congregation right at the front, are little Bibles that you ordered.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And listen, I'm handing them out. I was at the at the chiropractor and I met this lady and I said, Would you like a Bible?

SPEAKER_00

I'm glad you mentioned those Bibles. I need to restock that shelf. Uh, for those what what Kent's talking about is I put a shelf in the back of our uh church building when you walk in the foyer that says, Need a Bible, take a Bible, give a Bible. And we keep the World Bible School Bibles out there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it's just the New Testament. But at the back, if it asks questions, what do I do for this and what do I do for that? And was it talk about the second coming of Christ? And what about this and what about that? And and it's an empty Bible. And Dave, when they finish the seventh lesson and they graduate with World Bible School, they give them one of these Bibles.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Can you imagine? And and also when they graduate, that's not the end of it. There are other studies they can take, more advanced studies. And another thing I noticed about it in my experience, and as I've looked at it, is that it the information is geared to different developmental levels. Yes. Somebody can be like, I I have no idea what what is a Bible. All the way to somebody who says, well, you know, I've studied for a while and I'm interested in learning more. Okay, I'm doing too much talking.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, I want you to talk because people hear you on this podcast.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's it's a it's a very good program, the World Bible School. When I was a student at Fried Hardman years ago, 50 years ago.

unknown

Okay, now we're getting okay.

SPEAKER_00

There was a bulletin board in the lobby of old Maine, and I I will never forget it. In fact, I've used it many times. It was a picture of a huge crowd of people. And the caption on the people said, Untold millions are dying untold. And I will never forget that. And that's what we face today. You you said billions. Yeah, there's billions of people in the world. And so many of them are dying untold. Or they're told Error. And that that's as dangerous as anything. So that's what we're about. We're trying to tell these people. So they go from being untold to told. To told.

SPEAKER_01

And and and many of them are just looking. I mean, they are literally looking like that sign on the bus. And it said, right to us. Here are thousands. Here's what I want to tell you. When Ephesians 3, 21 and 22, which may be it is one of my all-time favorite scriptures. And it says you, now it's talking to Christians. He's talking to the Christians at Ephesus. You can do more than you ask or think because of his power.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And all glory, all glory now. Yeah. To God our Father and Christ our Lord. All glory. But here's what I wanted to say to you. How much are we asking? How much how much are we think you know, we think, well, we go to church two or three times a week and that's good. And that is good. But what are we doing as far as getting this message out to the world? You understand what I'm saying? How how big is big? How much can we ask? And that's one of the things I'm I call myself a Christian consultant because I did consulting in the automotive industry for a number of years, 39 to be exact. And and it was one of those things that I call and I say, guys, you know, we're we're gonna hit almost a million people this year. Okay. Now my question is, what about 10 million? What about 20 million? What about a hundred million? What what about a billion people?

SPEAKER_00

Well, why not? Yeah. And you know, w here here we sit in little Prattville, Alabama. Absolutely, does it? And somebody's sitting out there that might be hearing us, say, well, you know, it's just me. What can I do? I'm just a sweet little old lady. Yes. Or I'm just an old guy who can't get out and do much anymore. Yes, you can. Yes. Oh. There is no retirement age, first of all. No. And secondly, this is a program that anybody can do. Anybody can do. So how do I, if I say, man, I'd like to do that, how do I become a teacher or a guide in the World Bible School to help get that gospel out?

SPEAKER_01

Well, you you just get to worldbibleschool.com, as you said, and and you check in and you go through it and you see what it is and you see, and I and I want to teach, and they will sign you up to teach all over the world, wherever we are.

SPEAKER_00

But I've never taught before. I don't know how to teach. What do you mean teach?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know how to teach. They get the lesson and they study it, and they hand it back to the coordinator over there, and he's talking to them and answering their questions, like what you're saying. It's in the language that they speak, not necessarily English. It may be in uh like in South Sudan, where there are hundreds of thousands becoming Christians right now. Being killed by the Muslims, but they're wanting to become Christians. And maybe they speak some Swahili or something in in some portions of Africa. And here's a lesson in their language that they can study and they can learn and they can give it back, and then they can go and that's what I'm saying over there. They're so excited that, you know, they don't have things holding them down. We're held down by things all around us. I've got this mission and I've got this thing, and I've got to go here and I've got to do that, and I gotta fix this, and and we're so encumbered with things in this world that we forget, wait a minute, we're fixing to leave. Hopefully we're gonna leave and go be with Jesus because of his grace and his mercy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you know, I was sitting last week. I was sitting in a uh we were having a devotional time, and the brother that was leading the devotional asked the question. He says, Why why are we not getting out there and being evangelistic? And one person said this and another and another and another, and then Charles he says, you know what, all I'm hearing are excuses. I haven't heard any reasons. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and and and what I'm saying to you, everyone has a, you know, it talks about where some's a hand, some's a head, some's a knee, so different, different gifts that God has given us. But we can all, you you ask something, it's so simple. World Bible School, you've got a little grading sheet, and you just grade the lesson.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and that that's where I wanted to go with this. Yes. The World Bible School curriculum is set up so well, it teaches itself. You are guiding that person. That's right, Dave. And and you are grading the response and then providing a little bit of extra insight, but the World Bible School, if all I did was grade it and send it back, I'm helping it that out. And let me tell you a little uh I don't have to be a trained Bible scholar to be a part of this.

SPEAKER_01

No, and and and it goes from teenagers to older adults. I have ladies that come in and say, can I have uh 30 lessons or 50 lessons to take home and grade and bring back here at this church? I mean that ha every service somebody's come up and saying, give me 50 lessons. You don't have to be there Wednesday night.

SPEAKER_00

Well now the ones the ones that are online, you the they're graded online. They're graded online. So there is a paper base, but there's also the online.

SPEAKER_01

The online is about six, five to eight hundred, five to six hundred thousand, then the paper base is almost two hundred thousand, but for some reason the paper base is more of a gives you a personal with an individual over there. Sure. The online is just everything's done with with the computer, and then when you say, hey, I'm ready to give my life to the Lord, they send someone in there to sit to study, to help you, to help you get uh connected with a local church and help you to become feeling involved. And in World Bible School, it just lets everybody go out and and teach others without having to get on an airplane and go 10,000 miles. I mean you just go here to church and do it.

SPEAKER_00

Different people learn different ways. Some like to sit in a group, some like to sit individual, whatever. And so the World Bible School is trying to meet those desired learning uh preferences or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's exactly right.

SPEAKER_00

So if I want to be a part of this, I go to the World Bible School and I sign up as a guide or a teacher. That's right. Uh from our congregation, obviously they would work through uh our folks like yourself and sign up.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and then what they don't sign up, they just come in like Wednesday night. We'll have fifteen or twenty uh participants and we'll do let let's say we do each one does fifty lessons, and if you've got ten, that's five hundred lessons. That's two thousand, that's twenty-four lessons, twenty-four thousand lessons a year. How long does it take me to grade a lesson? Five minutes. Okay. Maybe ten. Okay you've got the answers to the lesson sitting right beside you, and you just check it. Circle if it's wrong, write a little message on there. You're you're you're making connection there, but what's what's happening is they are they are being followed up on by a person on the ground. It's not like I'm trying to, oh no, my letter got lost, oh no, the post office closed, oh no, my my motorcycle broke down, you know, in Africa or something. It's where they're able to get to you and study with you, whether it's in a school, whether it's in a like in Zimbabwe and the schools there, the whole school system. It's hard to believe that, Dave.

SPEAKER_00

Uh our friend Faros Bacchus uses it for his mission work. Sure. Uh the prison ministry that he works with and uh in Guyana. So can't we could talk about this for hours, my brother. This is exciting stuff. And and and and I guess where I'd like to kind of end on this is somebody's sitting there and they're saying, I know I need to be doing something, and yet I don't know what I can do. There are so many opportunities for us to share the gospel in so many different ways. And and this is just another way to do it. And it's something everybody could do if they want to.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, everybody can do it. It's real simple, whether you're taking a little bit of time or twenty or fifty or eighty.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, you can you can take on as many as you think you want. Uh you could grow in it, you could step back from it, but you could still be working with it.

SPEAKER_01

Well, just think uh eight hundred thousand people con contacted last year.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What if we get to a million this year? What do we get to ten million?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

How many people will want to give their lives to the Lord as a result of that? And all we were doing, spending an hour of our time in a little Bible class grading these lessons and talking to each other and having fellowship and praying together and saying, okay, and you know, here we go.

SPEAKER_00

Something amazing about the gospel, if you converted one person, that person's converted to the Lord, you have just changed a generation of people because if that person's converted to the Lord, they are going to start teaching and it'll mushroom out. It's a multiplication effect. You just said it right there.

SPEAKER_01

It's not addition, and addition's fine. I I'm all for it. But it this is multiplications, and you didn't have to leave home.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. You know, you said 800,000 people or whatever, and I might be intimidated by that. No, don't let that number scare you. You focus on the one.

Yes. God will give that. Yes, God'll. Well, you you just said something, and this is something that we forget. We're sitting here with our headphones on, we're talking to the microphones, people are listening to us all over the world. You know, this is this is a ministry from downtown Prattville, Alabama. Prattville, Alabama. Thank you. That's all I'm wanting to say. You're listening to some people in Prattville, Alabama. You know, it's one of these things. OAC Essen was a guy in, I'm told, in Nigeria, and this is in the 70s, and he received this lesson, and when they got there, he had already brought like 10,000 people to the Lord and had a hundred churches working. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And his grandson right now is president of a Christian school, East Nigerian Christian school. There are two Christian schools. One was his brotherhead on one side of Nigeria and on the other end of Nigeria. And these are big countries like, you know, they're the size of Texas. Yeah. And so here he is, and now he, it's what you said, now his grandson's president of the school and is helping all these students and all these people and all these people who want to go uh and and teach the gospel. We've even got a deal called Gospel Chariots where it's a big truck and they let down the side of the truck and they preach the gospel and give out these pamphlets and hand out these Bibles. And you know, and this this we're not talking about having to, you know, a Bible's five dollars. Everybody can afford five dollars to give to somebody else. That it's your doing, Dave. Thank you for helping. And I wanted to say thank you to this the the elders of the deacons, the men members of the Bible Church of Christ for uh allowing us and how how big is big? You know, uh we just have to ask God and say, God, help us to realize it's bigger than we can ask or think.

We don't think big enough. Our Lord didn't tell us to focus on numbers. No. And and and and I tell folks, you know, our our Lord is a savior of humanity, but he does so one soul at a time. One soul at a time.

SPEAKER_01

But he did tell us to get the message out to those souls. Yeah, and that's what we're doing. And they're throwing 360 billion in the world, and so he's saying, and and and if if he told us to do it, we've got to trust him that he's serious about it. And in this way, we're going to get to those millions, maybe a billion, and we're looking forward to the people who are listening saying, hey, I want to know more about that. Please contact us.

Okay. Well, it's an exciting program, and folks can be a part of it to the extent that they desire to be. Uh they get involved with it, they're going to grow. Well, Kent, thank you. I appreciate your excitement, your passion, and and uh we you know we gotta get the word out there. It's all God, brother. That's right. I know it. Okay, let me wrap up. Well, friends, thank you for listening today as together we walk with our master. Please join us again next week as we continue to seek truth, growing our faith, and getting back to what really matters. And as my brother Kent said, we give all glory to God our Father.
